Julie Felber – Doggie Director
Julie was ARF’s dog program coordinator for over 8 years, she has a Canine Behaviour and Handling Certificate from dogma Training and Pet Services and has attended numerous canine related seminars over the years. She has been to the Best Friend No More Homeless Pets Conferences in 2011 and 2010. She has also previously owned and operated another dog daycare. Julie also has extensive experience working with and training fearful and reactive dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys agility, tracking and herding any of her 7 dogs or motorcycling.
Susan Chen – Owner/ Doggie Stylist
Susan has been grooming dogs for more than 11 years and was previously a foster home for rescue dogs. She attended the 2011 Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Conference and has excellent dog handling skills. She has 8 dogs of her own and enjoys teaching them tricks and running with them in her spare time. Susan also has extensive experience working with and training fearful and reactive dogs.
Julie Bousfield – Group Class Training
Julie has been working and volunteering with dogs for about 11 years, starting with her own fearful border collie. She has taken an in-depth Canine Behaviour & Handling Course, is constantly keeping current on scientifically proven training methods. She is currently working towards her CPDT-KA certification and is a Level III Reiki Master/Teacher. Julie feels that puppy socialization and development is incredibly important to raising a well-rounded dog and started working with Waggin’ Tails teaching the little Waggers Puppy Classes. She also understands the importance of structure and safety for shy or fearful dogs and has tailored the puppy classes so that all puppies have a safe and fun place to learn and grow.
